Ch’ing Chi’ing Goes the Bell
Imagine an American Bodhisattva. Or for starters, imagine an ordinary citizen, in delight (Skt. dana, the first Bhumi or level, stage & state of being of the Bodhisattva Path, and, ultimately, we are taught by the Eleventh Trungpa Tulku, also the resolution of the Bodhisattva Path, that is, the state of being which indicates closure in the mathematical sense for the algebraic realization of those key states, as beacons along the way, by which we may indicate in the forms of the "softly spoken word,” mudra, as in perhaps the living fluid mudra of dance or peut etre, the "frozen music" of architecture, forms of calligraphy such as Dada typography & Concrete Poetry, the mandala, and the realization of Mandala in the larger sense of seeing and being the teaching in day-to-day, moment-by-moment, mind-moment by mind-moment--how many eye-moments are there per eye-blink? Billions,...by which we may indicate in the forms of the three Yanas, or "vehicles" Hinayana, Mahayana, Vajrayana, expressed in the conventional cultural forms of language, music, dance, architecture; Mandala incorporating the reports on the world of experience within, the Buddha Realms, as psycho-mapped by the great traditions of meditation: Kargyud-pa & other schools cited above - for the benefit of All Sentient Beings, that they may be happy, (delighted) crossing from dream to awakening: as from the void to the form, or, as from the form into the void.
Relationships between these formal states, which fundamentally have nothing necessarily to do with limited human consciousness, but which are deeper than and in a technical sense prior to even "existence," may be expressed as precisely by the meditative techniques of the Six Yogas of Naropa, and indicated in the form of the written word as the Noble Heart Sutra, (Prajnaparamitahridyasutra) in a single page, as by the axioms of Laws of Form in two equations: "Cross, cross equals cross; cross, cross again equals ." This may be construed as an eight-word mantram of the Calculus of Indications. Again, the Heart Sutra epitomizes its message in a single line, proclaimed thus:
TEYATA OM GATE, GATE, PARAGATE, PARASAMGATE BODHI SVAHA
again as we say an eight-word mantram. Whereas, the mantram of Guru Rinpoche, Padmasambhava, dedicating Body, Speech and Mind to the emmanation of Amitabha, the Buddha of Boundless Light and the Source Buddha of all the Buddhas (within) the Lotus-born One, up from the mud & Kurt von Meier, through the waters of the Lake Dhanakosha, wherever it might be as in the Taoist Water Wheel "reversing the flow" of the Golden Light within, onto the lily/lotus flower pollen, golden rDorje in the LIGHT. Crystal pure Chenrezig is proclaimed in six syllables:
OM MANI PADME HUM
hri!
or in one,
AH
How would the record of the transformations appear? Might we focus our transpersonal consciousness so as to work for the benefit of the happiness and enlightenment of all sentient beings!
A powerful, highly-generalized key for this work in the world, this yoga of TRANSLATION, in the Karma KarGyud-pa lineage from rDorje Chang, through Tilopa, Naropa, Marpa the Translator, Milarepa the poet, saint, ascetic, yogi, sGam. po. pa., KARMAPA (Karmapa Cheno!), Karma Kargyud-pa Lamas, Homage to Kalu Rinpoche, Trungpa Rinpoche, Tsenjur Rinpoche, Chime Rimpoche, Tinley Rinpoche, and may the Rain of Compassion fall upon Lama Kunga Rinpoche of the Sakya-pa lineage and Tarthang Tulku of the Nyingma-pa.
Homage to the Dalai Lama and Gelug-pa Lamas in the spirit of Rime ecumenialism with this spinning of the Wheel of Dharma. Homage to the Roshis of Zen, the Ch'an Masters, the Sufis, Chassidim, Christian Mystics and Saints such as Cuthbert who frolicked with sea otters & probably practiced gTummo, with the monks at Iona on the oldest exposed rock.
